The Carnegie Science Awards program recognizes and promotes outstanding science and technology achievements in Western Pennsylvania. Established in 1997, Carnegie Science Awards have honored the accomplishments of more than 575 individuals and organizations whose contributions in the fields of science, technology, and education have impacted our region's industrial, academic, and environmental vitality. Nominations will open in Fall 2018.
The Carnegie Science Awards event is Carnegie Science Center’s signature celebration of innovation and fundraiser for student programming. Each year, guests leave this event moved by the creativity and commitment of awardees to address real-world challenges in science, technology, and education. In addition, the Awards Celebration raises funds to support Carnegie Science Center education programs that prepare and inspire the next generation of leaders in science and technology. This rich networking platform builds discourse between science professionals, business and community leaders, researchers, educators, and students. Join us May 10, 2019 in PointView Hall in the PPG SCIENCE PAVILION™ at Carnegie Science Center on Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
